Semicolon, 2021

Zine Publication. Place-Based Design.

A publication about a neighborhood in Burnaby, BC. Using a place-based design approach, this zine takes inspiration from this area to illustrate the changes in the neighbourhood, especially its urban development. Made from and for this community, this zine hopes to educate community members about their land they reside on and to celebrate the land’s history.

Semicolon is a reference to the intent of this zine: the connection between past and present of this land.
